Lake Baringo, approximately 168 Sq. Kms is a major tourist resort.

To the East of the lake is the Laikipia escarpment and to the west rises the dramatic Tugen hills. Moto boat rides, fishing, rowing and water skiing are among the many captivating activities at the lake.

Its surroundings are a bushy acacia at the lakeshore and the rocky dry sparsely populated and remote semi arid environment. The lodge enjoys a spectacular view of the fresh water of Lake Baringo. Its beautifully enchanted islands include the famous Laikipia escarpment across the lake.
